Sing-KOH-neh

Cinchona is derived from the bark of trees in the Linnaean genus, found in South America, Java and India. It is known for its refreshing and cooling benefits, especially for problem skin. In tropical areas Cinchona is commonly used to treat malaria and fever.

GRAYT BURR-dock

Great Burdock is a gentle, natural ingredient known for centuries to help improve dry skin.

TEE TREE OY-il

Tea Tree Oil is derived by distilling the leaves of the Southern Australian Melaleuca tree. This aromatic, almost colorless oil penetrates quickly and is beneficial for problematic skin. Australian Aborigines have been known to use it to treat skin, while European explorers once used it as an herbal tea.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Hair's Best Friend Love the product, its lessens oiliness and keeps hair clean and shiny. Does not have any strong smell. Suitable for thin hair. 14/07/15
Rated 3 out of 5 by THE INGREDIENTS ARE NOT AS THE PICTURE SHOWED ON WEBSITE AFTER I RECIEVED THE NEW SHAMPOO I NOTICED THE NEW INGREDIENTS, WHICH IS KIND OF DISAPPOINTED BECAUSE THE NEW VERSION IS NOT AS GOOD AS THE OLD ONE! IT CONTAINS SLS WHICH IS A STRONG AND STIMULUS FORMULA, AND THOSE NATURAL OIL EXTRACT HAS DECREASED. 15/05/15
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great product This product is great. It softens hair and makes a good perfume. 03/08/14
Rated 5 out of 5 by Addicted! I used to be a shampoo jumper. Each new bottle would be a different brand. I have very oily Italian skin and until this shampoo nothing did it justice. I am addicted! I love the scent, it is not overpowering. It leaves my hair manageable, and NOT OILY!! The only cons would be the lid: It broke off. Also if you have guests make sure to have other shampoo for them, this product is not for people with dry hair! 06/10/13

Rated 4 out of 5 by Too good This product is amazing at taking out excess oil. So good, that I was told to limit the amount of times I use it in a week. The funny thing is, my mother asks if I had coloured my hair after I use it since it is a darker black! I use this shampoo now once or twice a week and use the Amino Acid Shampoo along with the Amino Acid Conditioner the rest of the time. Before I had used the Tea Tree Oil Conditioner along with the shampoo, however Kiehl's no longer has it in stock. 17/02/13
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love it but it is not sodium sulfate free I love the product however I wish that ALL your products were sodium sulfate free! Especially since Khiels is known for being a apothecary and products being natural . I was a little disappointed to find out your products still contain sulfates ! I love it but I probably would not buy it again ! 16/02/13
Rated 3 out of 5 by Ingredients have changed! Beware! I have used the tea tree oil shampoo for years and the large bottle I bought in January 2013 however has a stickier texture and very different smell, no hint of tea tree oil scent. Then I discovered that a large portions of the ingredients have changed. The picture on the website right now still shows the old ingredients. I list a few of the new ingredients here (please excuse typos as these chemicals have very complex names): sodium laureth sulfate citric acid glycerin aminomethyl propanol cocamidopropyl betaine panthenol sodium chloride hexylene glycol glyceryl laurate sodium benzoate propylene glycol PEG-55 Propylene Glycol oleate salicylic acid polyquaternium-10 linalool melaleuca alternifolia oil/te tree leaf oil ... It's very hard to compare these two lists but it seems to me that there is a much longer list of chemical ingredients and shorter list of oil extracts. The shampoo made from the new formula does not smell the nice scent of tea tree oil. It also has a stickier texture. Overall I don't feel it cleans as well as before. Buyers beware! 13/01/13
