I bought this serum with zero expectations of actual results. I'm addicted to Kiehls so I thought I would just try it and serisouly I cannot say enough about it. I had bad acne scars from my teenage acne years and I would not show my face to anyone without makeup on because it literally looked like I had horrible acne still because the marks were so red. After using this serum for about 3 months, my skin is practically perfect and I am very happy to be able to go swimming or workout with no self consciousness. If you have acne scars, try this product you willl be amazed!

excellent product
I just got a sample of this one and been wearing it for like 2-3 days. and this product works amazingly on my skin! my dark spots are visibly gone bit by bit (because my dark spots are not too big but there are a lot of them). gonna go back to the shop and buy the whole bottle!

Effective in Getting Rid of Dark Spots and Brightening my Skin
I have been a long-time user of many of Kiehl's products for several years now. I began using this serum in hopes that it would lighten any minor dark spots and even out my skin overall. I used it every night, prior to applying my moisturizer. It definitely made a difference, as I noticed a more even tone and a lightening of any dark spots. It is important to note that I did not have VERY dark spots, it was really very minor as I am only 21 years old and use sunscreen religiously. I mainly used this product as a preventative measure and would recommend it to anyone else who feels that preventing dark spots is a priority. Despite being a poor student, it's important to invest in your skin and take measures to prevent damage before it happens and gets out of control, as it's more expensive (and difficult) to reverse damage than to prevent it in the first place.

Nothing too special
I should start by saying I use Kiehl's Ultra Facial line and love the products, so I purchased this after reading other great reviews. I was hoping it would lessen the redness and small spots on my face. Although I did like the texture, it didn't do anything for my skin as the spots are still there, and it was rather costly.
