Vitamin E is a lipid soluble naturally found in plant leaves, cereal germ oils, and milk. It is known for its antioxidant and moisturizing properties.

Glycerin is a by-product of soap manufacturing and is a clear, syrupy liquid, usually derived from vegetable oil and obtained by adding alkalies to fats and fixed oils. At last I have been struggling for years to find a suitable day cream, as a good base for foundation. Having a very dry skin, and prone to excema, I have finally found a winner. Best cream ever! I LOVE this cream. Not only does it keep me hydrated all day, which is difficult with my dry skin, but it also gave me a nice mate finish. I've noticed a huge improvement in the texture, tone and feel of my skin. I definitely would not switch to any other moisturizer now that I've found this one. It also lasts FOREVER, it's taken me 5 months to get halfway, you only need a small amount and it soaks right in, 01/02/12
Should be marketed as a hand cream for gardeners I found that this very thick and heavy moisturizer was greasy and took a while to absorb. I did not like the feel of it on my skin, nor did I think that it prepped my skin aqeduately for daytime make-up. When I applied it before bed, it appeared to leave a residue on my pillow case. I do not recommend it as a facial moisturizer, however since it's a rather pricey product, I've started using it on my hands and cuticles so that it doesn't go to waste. 25/11/11
