Participation in the Kiehl’s Rewards program is voluntary. You have no obligation to join the Kiehl’s Rewards in order to purchase products at Kiehl’s. Membership in Kiehl’s Rewards and its benefits are offered at the discretion of Kiehl’s. Participation in the Kiehl’s Recycle and Be Rewarded program is voluntary. You need not join to purchase products at Kiehl’s. You need to provide both your first and last name OR a valid email address to participate in the Recycle and Be Rewarded Program. You must be at least 13 years old to sign-up and participate.
Participation in Kiehl’s Recycle and Be Rewarded and its benefits are offered at the discretion of Kiehl’s. Kiehl’s may, at any time, terminate, change, limit, modify or cancel the Recycle and Be Rewarded Program or any rules, benefits or conditions of participation by posting the modified terms on the Kiehl’s website and/or by communicating any changes in stores or by email. By participating in Kiehl’s Recycle and Be Rewarded Program, you hereby agree to these Terms and Conditions which may be updated from time to time by Kiehl’s in its sole discretion and that you meet the eligibility requirements. Changes to Kiehl’s Recycle and Be Rewarded Program or these Terms and Conditions will be communicated via email or on the Kiehl’s website.
General Program Conditions and Exclusions
How it works: Provide your first and last name or email address to the Kiehl’s employee each time you return an empty Full Sized Kiehl’s Product for recycling. The Kiehl’s employee will mark down the number of Full Sized products recycled on your customer account at the point of sale. When you have reached the 5 recycled full sized containers count, you will be eligible to receive $16 off your purchase or a free travel size products (value of $16 or less), and can be redeemed the same day or saved for future visits. You will be eligible to receive also 50 Kiehl’s Rewards points and they will appear next day in your account. Customers will also receive one recycle count when using a Kiehl’s tote bag while shopping in a Kiehl’s boutique. Deluxe samples and complimentary products may be recycled at Kiehl’s but do not qualify as one of the 5 products needed to receive a Reward.
Exclusions: Each customer is only eligible for four Rewards through the Recycle and Be Rewarded Program (five (5) empty recycled full-sized containers = fifty (50) Kiehl’s Reward points and $16 off your purchase or a free travel size products (Maximum 4 redemptions per year). Only available at Kiehl's boutiques in Canada. Not valid online or at Kiehl's Department Store locations, Kiehl's by mail, or Kiehl's Duty-Free/Airport Stores. Kiehl’s Recycle and Be Rewarded Program Rewards cannot be redeemed for cash at any time (except where required by law), and participants have no property interest or right in the Recycle and Be Rewarded Program whatsoever.
Abuse or Misuse: In order to receive the benefits of the Kiehl’s Recycle and Be Rewarded Program, you must strictly follow the requirements of these Terms and Conditions, and Kiehl’s reserves the right to terminate your participation for any violation of the program Terms and Conditions or for any reason whatsoever. Upon termination for any reason, all credit towards a Reward will be forfeited and Kiehl’s will not provide cash equivalent for recycled bottles or any portion of the Reward.
Privacy
Your privacy is important to us. Enrollment information collected when you sign up for the Recycle and Be Rewarded Program is subject to Kiehl’s Privacy Policy here.
Communications from Kiehl’s
If you sign-up for the Recycle and Be Rewarded Program by providing your email address to us, you may periodically receive emails from Kiehl’s, including emails about Kiehl’s Recycle and Be Rewarded Program and other promotions and ads that may be of interest to you. You may opt-out of the marketing emails at any time by clicking the unsubscribe button at the bottom of our emails or contacting us, but we reserve the right to send you emails regarding the Recycle and Be Rewarded Program will still be sent to you. If you wish to stop receiving all email from Kiehl’s, you must also end your participation in this Program or sign-up by providing on your first and last name. To review or change the way your Recycle and Be Rewarded participation is recorded, please contact us as provided below or speak with a Kiehl’s Customer Representative in one of our Kiehl's boutiques.

As a new Kiehl’s Rewards member, you earn 100 points by creating an account.
Once you’ve enrolled in Kiehl’s Rewards, you can continue earning points by completing qualifying purchases at one of our Kiehl's boutiques or Kiehls.ca (for every dollar you spend, you earn 1 point).
Your member account is activated the day you enroll in Kiehl’s Rewards and lasts for 545 days.
Your email address is your username for your Kiehl’s Rewards account. Please be sure to use your registered email address when logging into Kiehls.ca or referencing your Kiehl’s Rewards account in store.
As a new Kiehl’s Rewards member, you earn 100 points by creating an account.
Once you’ve enrolled in Kiehl’s Rewards, you can continue earning points by completing qualifying purchases at one of our Kiehl's boutiques or Kiehls.ca (for every dollar you spend, you earn 1 point).
Points earned by Kiehl’s Rewards members do not include tax.
e.g., If you make a purchase for $47.00 of product, and tax brings your total to $52.21, you are only awarded for the purchase of $47.00.
You can also earn points by sharing your kiehls.ca purchases on Facebook, referring your friends to join Kiehl’s Rewards and shop, get an in-store skincare consultation, shop bagless or with a reusable bag and for every 5 empty bottles you bring back for recycling.
Once you’ve enrolled in Kiehl’s Rewards, you can earn as many points as what you have spent on qualifying purchases at one of our Kiehl's boutiques or Kiehls.ca.
You can use each method of earning points by engaging with Kiehl’s through:
- Get a skin consultation (In-store & online): 25 points for each in-store or online skincare consultation, up to 4 per member year(max. 100 points).
- Referring your friends to join Kiehl’s Rewards and shop on Kiehls.ca: 200 points for you per friend who joins Kiehl’s Rewards and makes a qualifying purchase, up to 4 per member year(max. 800 points), and 25 points for your referrals.
- Recycle & Be rewarded program (In-store): 50 points for every 5 full size empty bottles you bring back, up to 4 times per member year(max. 200 points).
- Sharing your Kiehls.ca purchases on Facebook: 5 points per share, up to 10 per member year(max. 50 points).
- Choose a reusable bag or shop bagless & Be rewarded (In-store): 20 points each time you shop bagless or with a reusable bag = $1 OFF your next purchase
Kiehl’s Reward Points will appear the next day after qualifying purchases at one of our Kiehl's boutiques or Kiehls.ca.
You will qualify for Gold Status when you accumulate 150 points or Black Diamond Status when you accumulate 450 or more points during your member year.
Your points expire after 18 months of inactivity in your Kiehl’s Rewards account. To keep your points balance, you must either earn or redeem points. These actions will reset your points expiration date.
However, every 365 days, the members status is re-calculated as to what tier the member should belong to based on the core tier rules (Silver, Gold, Black Diamond).
Yes! Log into your account on https://www.kiehls.ca/en/account and visit Kiehl’s Rewards Dashboard to check your member account details.
Kiehl’s Rewards points may be redeemed for purchases on Kiehls.ca & in one of our Kiehl's boutiques in Canada. Purchases at Kiehl’s counters in department stores, Kiehl’s boutiques at Airport Locations, other third party retailers or e-retailers are not eligible for the Kiehl’s Rewards program.
Upon enrollment, you will receive the following program benefits:

Kiehl’s reserves the right to change the number of points awarded for purchases at any time during the Program. Points collected through other methods (e.g., participation in activities), may vary in value.
You are eligible for points redemption once you collect at least 100 points. After which you may continue to redeem any number of points.
20 points are equal to a discount of $1 on your next purchase, and 1 point is equal to a discount of $0.05.
In alignment with regulations, points cannot be used to discount your purchase to $0. Therefore, the minimum amount charged will be $1.
You must have sufficient points in order to redeem them. Your points account cannot be combined with another member’s points account. Kiehl’s reserves the right to limit the quantities of points redeemed by a single member in a given time period. Kiehl’s points can only be used by the holder of the account. In the event you return a purchase for which you had received points, the return will be deducted from your points account based on the dollar value of the return.
Log in to My Account at https://www.kiehls.ca/en/account and update your information at any time. In one of our Kiehl's boutiques, please let a Kiehl’s Customer Representative know that you have a change to make to your account information and they can take care of it for you.
As we use only the finest natural ingredients known to us and minimal preservatives in our fresh, original preparations, we offer the following guidelines to help maintain the freshness and efficacy of Kiehl's formulations for as long as possible:
Suggested Usage Schedule
We recommend that face creams be used within three months of purchase; body creams and hair conditioners should be used within six months of purchase. Cleansing products, including shampoos and body cleansers, generally have a shelf-life of one year or more from date of purchase. In general, it is a good idea to refrigerate products to extend their lifespan.
Climate Control
Products should not be exposed to extreme heat, cold, or temperature changes and should be kept out of direct sunlight. Products should be kept in a cool, dry place. Bathrooms are not usually ideal locations for product storage, because the temperature and humidity levels there change frequently.
Usage
We recommend use of sterile disposable, plastic spatulas or swabs with all creams packaged in jars - rather than fingers - to remove the product form the jar in order to decrease the potential introduction of bacteria from the fingertips into the product.
Post-Usage
Please be sure to close lids tightly on all jars and to remove any residue from the spouts on bottles before each use. Bottle tops should be fully closed when storing product or between applications.

Because Kiehl's utilizes natural ingredients in our unique formulations, our products may vary in color and consistency with each new batch that we make. These natural variations do not in any way affect the quality or efficacy of the product.
