Reduce the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles, dark spots and dark under eye bags with Kiehl’s face and eye serums. Whether you are looking for anti-aging serum, brightening serum, hydrating serum or Vitamin C serum, there is a serum for your skin needs to add to your skincare routine. For dry skin, you can also add serum to your body care routine before applying your body moisturizer. Don’t forget to apply sunscreen at the end of your routine for protection!
What Is a Serum?
Serums are becoming more and more integrated in skin care routines and beauty regimes. Essentially, serums are a lightweight and purified hydrator that will target specific needs your skin may have. Since they penetrate deeply into the skin, and contain a higher proportion/concentration of ingredients - they have ample benefits when used daily. Kiehls offers a multitude of serums and concentrates that offer plumping and reviving effects, the reduction of fine lines, wrinkles and dark spots, as well as anti-aging properties. During the day, the popular use of face serums like the Daily Reviving concentrate, is to enhance the skin’s glow and healthy complexion. During the night, the skin is more receptive to reparation and so correctional face serums like the Midnight Recovery concentrate will be your skin’s savior!
How to Apply Serum?
Adding a serum to your skin care routine is very easy. Serums are made to be used before applying a cream moisturizer. After washing your face, apply 2 to 3 drops of a serum of your choice and massage gently into skin. You can do this both during your morning and night routine. Once the serum is absorbed, you may use your regular moisturizer. Adding the moisturizer afterwards will help secure-in the nutrients and active ingredients that are contained in the serum. Of course, if your skin tends to be on the oilier side, you can simply use a serum once a day. Usually applying a nighttime serum is a good option in that case.
